Slavonic Studies

The Summer School of Slavonic Studies is intended for foreigners interested in the Czech language, ranging from beginners to advanced students. It combines an internsive course off Czech lead by our experienced lecturers with a wide variety of seminars, cultural and sports activities.

Course aim

We will guide you toward bettering your active communication skills ( such as speaking and writing) and also receptive skills ( such as reading and listening). We will also address phonetics, grammar and help you grow your vocabulary.

Fee info

EUR 910: package language tuition ( 100 lessons) + cultural and social activities
EUR 300: Accomodation - is provided in a hotel-style standard and offers twin rooms en-suite. Communal kitchenettes are situated on each floor. All rooms offer free wifi. All premises are non-smoking.
Poděbrady is located an hour´s drive from Prague airport. This lovely spa town with a central colonnade offers many parks, restaurants and lively cultural and scoial life. The course take place at a 14th century castle with a large garden.

The Ministry od Education of Czech Republic also offers the opportunity to obtain a scholarship for this course
