The Summer School will take place in the four main universities of Rome (Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, UNINT) and will focus on the cultures of Portuguese-speaking countries and the city of Rome.
The program includes talks and classes in the morning, giving participants the opportunity to discuss with professors and top specialists about their researches in the field of portuguese, brasilian and african studies. In the afternoon, they will live and experience the lusophone space in the eternal city (churches, academies, monuments, Biblioteca Vaticana, Accademia dei Lincei) through cultural tours.

Course aim

The Summer School aims to enhance the historic, phylosophical and theological heritage of “lusofonia” in Rome, which has a strong influence on plastic arts, architecture and literature.
