The program includes following topics: Introduction to How to write a scientific article; Geothermal energy in special underground structures; Increase scientific research activities and innovation in thermal energy in Central Europe; Mining hydrogeology, groundwater modelling applications and heat transport simulation; Hydrogeology, groundwater hydraulics, groundwater modelling and environmental geotechnics.

Course leader

prof. Ing. Jiří Koziorek, Ph.D.
Head of Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering. He is working at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava as professor. He is working in the area of measurement and control, also of geothermal systems.

PhD. students and master degree students

Course aim

Gain new knowledge in the field of geothermal energy. Expand an overview of current issues and learn new insights in practical examples of experts from the scientific community and specific companies in the market.
