The programme will be implemented in the form of hybrid learning and is dedicated mainly to foreign students of the first or second degree.

During the summer school, participants will take part in classes that will allow them to acquire knowledge and skills in such issues as business process management, business process modeling workshop, logistics management, evaluation enterprise effectiveness, modern management methods, and concepts in process improvement with particular use of creative problem-solving methods. A series of subjects will be presented, which will show how to analyze processes in the enterprise and how to make improvements in enterprises. The modules presenting the idea of the process approach will be an introduction to the whole cycle.

In addition, during the course, participants will be introduced to the use of FlexSim and IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Advanced in terms of acquiring practical modeling skills and process improvement. The acquired knowledge and skills during the summer school will allow its participants in the future to independently model business, production and logistics processes, and to make improvements and analyze them, taking into account the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.

A total of 80 hours of classes will be carried out in six main thematic areas:
1. Business Process Management,
2. Business Process Modeling Workshop,
3. Logistics Management,
4. Evaluation of efficiency in the enterprise,
5. Modeling of Production Processes,
6. Modern management methods and concepts in process improvement.

Target group

Foreign students, from the European Universities of the Enhance Alliance and other universities, enrolled for the first-cycle degree studies (undergraduate studies) or a long-cycle Master’s programme, who have completed at least 4 semesters of studies or enrolled for second-cycle studies (postgraduate studies).

Course aim

1. increasing the practical skills and knowledge of Projects participants;
2. increasing the knowledge of foreign students about Polish culture and arousing interest in it.

Fee info

EUR 0: Participation costs are covered by Warsaw University of Technology within the SPINAKER - IMPK Program financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

Scholarships

PLN 3610 - only for participants who will take part in a blended-learning summer school to reimburse travel, accommodation, and food costs.
