In Italy there is a vast patrimony of churches and sacred buildings (whose number is around 100 thousand) which in the case of rural areas, in addition to being places of worship, tell of a past where small communities built their civic belonging around them buildings. What to do today with these spaces, often small and isolated, when their celebratory function fails? This is the question that participants who will work on the temporary reuse of the Church of San Luigi King of France will have to face during a workshop that will take place in the small village of Castelletto Uzzone (CN), at Cascina Crocetta, from 15 to 24 August 2022.
