The international school of NDT and SHM is organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of the AGH University of Science and Technology, the leading technical university in Poland. Thanks to the high teaching standards and research excellence, we rank among the best faculties in mechatronics and mechanical engineering in Poland, which is conﬁrmed by independent rankings and accreditations, including the ABET accreditation for the program of studies in Mechatronic Engineering. At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, we combine theory and practice to equip our students with the essential skills for challenges modern engineering. We offer English- taught programs parallel to the Polish-taught ones on both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Overview of SHM and NDT: state-of—the-art and state-of—the-use
Fundamentals of experimental techniques and signal processing
Sonic and ultrasonic testing: standard techniques, guided waves, laser ultrasound, nonlinear acoustics
Vision-based techniques: machine vision, Digital Image Correlation (DIC), Image features
Infrared thermography: passive thermography, pulsed thermography, lock-in thermography, vibrothermography
Completion of the course will be awarded by a certificate issued by the AGH University of Science and Technology.
