Study Mission Brussels

Brussels is the capital of Europe, not only because of the presence of European Institutions, but also because of other international organizations such as NATO Headquarters, the Cornerstone of a strategic alliance between the EU and the United States, and the reference point of the Euro-Mediterranean security, or the WHO Brussels office.

During this Study Mission, we will give voice to the key players of this reality, offering participants opportunities to meet high-level personalities: politicians, diplomats, representatives of institutions, and private companies.

The project will help students to understand the importance of the Institutions present in Brussels and will orient participants to elaborate analysis and perspectives on the topic of Climate Change and the Current Geopolitical Scenario.

University students and recent graduates will gather to exchange their ideas and build a network of young professionals with a strong awareness of European values.


STUDY PACKAGE BRUSSELS

The week following the Study Mission Brussels you can decide to take part in the Model EU Brussels. Model EU Brussels will let you learn more about the functioning of the central European institutions, thanks to direct experience of the ordinary EU legislative procedure with the learning-by-doing method:

Target group

University students, recent graduates, and young professionals with the most varied and multicultural backgrounds are invited to rethink the concept of Europe by proposing and discussing their ideas and solutions to current issues.

Course aim

Topic “Climate Change and Current Geopolitical Scenarios”

The structure of the Study Mission to Brussels is divided into 2 parts:

- Around five pre-departure webinars;
- Brussels: 4 days of meetings with European Institutions and International Organizations representatives, Diplomats, Managers, Professors, and Opinion Makers.

Credits info

Students enrolled in Luiss Guido Carli University will receive 4 ECTS.

Fee info

EUR 870: Participation fees is €870 and it provides for:

- pre-departure webinars;
- meetings in Brussels;
- accommodation for 4 nights in double rooms, check-in on May 29, 2023 - check-out on June 2, 2023;
- certificate of participation.
