And how do you go about it when you want to start trading? If you wonder about these questions, then this course is for you!

Many traders and investors use technical analysis, and it can be very profitable. In this course, you will learn various aspects of trading (indicators, chart patterns, price action and candlesticks). Whether you are looking for a potential base for earning some extra income on the side or whether you are at the footsteps of a full-time trading career, this course will give you the necessary foundations for you to start your journey in the financial markets.

During this course we will deep dive into technical analysis, what types of tools are out there, how they should be implemented and how to properly analyze securities. Technical analysis alone does not suffice however, so this course will also take an overarching look at trading. It is not only return that counts, risk has to be taken into account as well.

Other aspects of trading like psychology, money management, risk management and position sizing will also be discussed. An introduction to behavioral finance will be given during the discussion of the psychological effects related to trading.
Charting software will be utilized for students to get experience in analyzing securities. By the end of this course, you will have mastered the main assumptions and skills related to technical analysis and you will have a solid foundation in how to approach the trading of securities.

This is an online course that includes approximately 24 hours of online classes.
