Biozentrum Research Summer: Internships for Bachelor's Students

when 10 July 2023 - 8 September 2023
language English
duration 9 weeks

The Biozentrum Research Summer Program offers up to 15 selected Bachelor students the opportunity to experience what it means to be a scientist, to put their classroom learning into practice and gain hands-on research experience. Participants will be a member of one of the research groups at the Biozentrum, working during seven to nine weeks on a cutting-edge research project under the direct guidance of an experienced scientist. Their research will be in fields ranging from structural, computational and cellular biology to developmental biology, microbiology and neurobiology. They will learn how to exercise their scientific thinking, how to document and present research results, how to deal with diverse questions in the life sciences and different laboratory methods. They will have the opportunity to experience what scientific research is all about.
