What will you study?
You will be introduced to the concept, develop
an understanding of data science and
machine learning, and hear from experts
on data science applications. The course
includes both theory and practice on the
exciting methods and techniques currently
employed in industry to address the world’s
real problems.
During this course, you will:
• Develop an understanding of data analysis,
AI and machine learning for data science.
• Develop an understanding of exploratory
data analysis and visualisation.
• Understand the real-world applications in
data science.
• Get an insight into advances in data
science.

Academic pre requisites: Level 3 or equivalent
Course aim
This course aims to introduce the quantitative
analysis of data, blending classical
statistical methods with recent advances in
computational and machine learning. You will
cover key topics such as the challenges of
analysing big data using statistical methods,
and how machine learning and data science
can aid in knowledge generation.

There are many shops, canteens, cafes, and restaurants
