Attend the CESI Summer School and be a part of the ecological transition:

Driven by its values, renowned for its ability to innovate and its commitment to the ecological transition, CESI is organising a three-week summer school to raise awareness for sustainability issues in civil engineering and to promote eco-friendly development. CESI’s aim is to facilitate, exchange and study among French and international students from all backgrounds on such as BIM, Smart
Cities, eco-neighbourhoods and decarbonization innovations in connection with sustainable development.

Course leader

French and International speakers will train International participants in new approaches and technologies in BIM for sustainable construction.

Target group

The Summer School is open to participants with at least to year's of Higher Education studies (Advanced Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. students). Students should have a solid knowledge in fundamental sciences for Engineering (mathematics, physics, etc.). We invite students with an engineering, architectural, urbanistic and environmental background to join our innovative and multidiciplinary Summer Program. Researchers and professionals are also very welcome. Students should have a recommended English B2 level.

Course aim

Participants will discover new approaches and technologies in BIM and sustainable construction to make building and cities sustainable. Students will also study in an international environment, work on practical projects, discover French labs and companies working in sustainable construction and discover eco-districts in Paris and Nanterre. They will also experience the pre-Olympics atmosphere in Paris.

Credits info

3 EC
Credits will be awarded to students having shown a dynamic participation and having succesfully presented their project in front of a Jury at the end of the Summer School.

Fee info

EUR 1000: The tuition fees cover all participation fees, pedagogical fees and site visites during the Summer School. They do not include accomodation costs, living costs as well as visa and insurance fees.
The program fees include:
- Lectures and pedagocical documentation
- Access to CESI facilities in Paris-Nanterre and La Rochelle
- Welcome events
- Internet access
- Official program certificate upon succesful completion of the Summer School
- Cultural events
- Accomodation can be organised on demand on a first come first serve basis

A group discount may be awarded if more than 5 students from the same institution apply.
