Asecu Youth International Conference and Summer School
During the summer school – Conference the following main activities will take place:
> The conference, where students will present their papers.
> The Summer School, where professors will present their lectures.
> Round Table discussions, where students will work in groups and will deliver a final document on a specific topic, which will be assigned in the first day of the Summer School.
> Various activities: interactive games, sport activities, and excursions in Chios.
> Global Village, where delegations introduce their country through folk music, dance, traditional costumes, food, and drinks

Course aim
The participants will have the opportunity to attend the work of approximately 100 participants and the lectures of approximately 10 professors on subjects covering the following:
> The market: ethical limits, market failures and needs for correction
> Inequalities, social discrimination and need for correction
> Climate change and energy costs
> Is technology a common good or is it a factor of greater inequalities?
> Ethical standards in tourism and the goal of sustainability
> Positive and negative impacts of the tourism industry
> The common good in the ancient period and modern society
> Common good and the role of the media
> Common good and the role of government
> How the common good can be affected by ESG
> The protection of the environment in terms of the common good
> The common good in a world of global changes
> Social and economic asymmetries worldwide
