Diabetes Research Internship
The SIP is offered in English to outstanding Bachelor and first-year Master students with a background in biological, biochemical, cell biological or bioinformatic sciences, who are motivated to gain hands-on academic research experience. The selected interns will spend 8 weeks from July 3rd to August 25th, 2023 at Helmholtz Munich working on a research project, attending weekly lectures on diverse diabetes topics and interacting with their peers, with supervising doctoral researchers and with hosting lab teams. The interns will learn cutting-edge techniques applied to diabetes research, critically discuss and analyze data and benefit from the international experience at one of the prettiest cities of Germany, Munich.
All internships are covering accommodation in a shared room, a fixed travel subsidy (if not living in Munich) and a contribution towards living expenses.
Intern positions are limited and admission to the SIP is competitive. All applications must be submitted until the application deadline on March 6th, 2023 online through our application portal (www1.helmholtzresearchschool-diabetes.org).
