SommerUni Immunology and Biomedicine
In addition to working on a scientific project, the five-day program of the SommerUni includes lectures and talks given by leading scientist in the field of Immunology in Mainz as well as the presentation of one's own results in a poster session. The scope of the projects ranges from viral infections and tumor immunology to mass spectrometry and bioinformatics.
We offer the course in English or German language.

Target group
High School Pupils (age 16 and older) interested in Life Sciences, Mass Spectrometry and/or Bioinformatics;
Course aim
The SommerUni is aimed at high school students with a special interest in the natural sciences and/or medicine and is intended to offer them the opportunity to become better acquainted with everyday life in (bio-)medical research in a one-week, all-day internship and to receive help in deciding on a course of study.
