“SummerSchool Energy – Financing, participation, and environmental protection in community renewable energy projects” from August 28 – September 1, 2023 in Lüneburg (Germany).
Together with Leuphana University, Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW), ECOLOG – Institute for social-ecological research and education and Vereinigung für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (VÖW) we invite master's and PhD students to come to Lüneburg University.
We are looking forward to exploring the intersections of financing, participation, and environmental protection within the planning and implementation of community renewable energy projects. Here you can discuss with experts and fellow young researches how and why citizens should participate in financing the energy transition, what role of environmental protection should play and what the importance of international frameworks in the planning of renewable energy plants is. In a collaborative atmosphere, we will work out how further control mechanisms can be created and create a joint product.
