Rural Arena

On the ridge of the promontory, in an area of absolute landscape quality, will be built a real outdoor theater. Using the typical wood of the Alta Langa, in accordance with a circular and local economy, chairs and a stage will be created in armony with the natural context. The aim is to create a space for the local population and visitors for events, concerts and theatrical performances, which can encourage the development of a cultural center of the area.

Course leader

Camposaz is a wood self-construction workshop in 1:1 scale. It started in 2013 , with the ambition to promote interaction between disciplines and practitioners dealing with architectural design.
Tutoring: Asia Valencic and Gudmar Soderin

Target group

The workshop is open to anyone interested in the subject, regardless of age, provided they are at least 18 years old. The official languages of the activities will be Italian and English.

Course aim

Practical self-construction workshop with local wood for the design and realization of an outdoor arena/ theater in the area of Cascina Crocetta.

Credits info

3 EC
The participants will receive a certificate of attendance at activities for a number equal to 75 hours of work., which can be used to apply for ETS.

Fee info

EUR 550: The participation fee to the workshop is €550 including VAT (including insurance costs). Lessons, accommodation and board are included in the price, as well as excursions and visits. There is no refund for travel expenses to reach the workshop location.
EUR 470: *EARLY BIRD for registrations before May 15th: 470€ VAT included instead of 550€.
