The Design Summer School '23 theme FLOW is aimed to explore nature’s cycles, heighten our awareness and draw our attention to the tension between restriction and freedom, stagnation and activation, collapse and succession. During the three workshop weeks, the theme will be unpacked through an interdisciplinary teamwork method blending architecture, psychology, anthropology, technology, design, art, dance and performance.

Within the FLOW theme, with their workshop SYSTEMS, Vibeke and Tomasz propose an exploration into a variety of networks including: the electric grid, interspecies collaboration and cybernetics. Alternating a hands on approach with poetic concentration they’re workshop will navigate parallels between the nerve, the electric wire and the rope.
