From bench to bedside: Drug Development, Clinical Trials, and Publishing in Biomedical Sciences
This course aims to provide an overview of how clinical research is conducted, from the identification of molecules with potential therapeutic interest to their approval by regulatory entities and the publication/dissemination of results to the scientific community. Through lectures, practical sessions, and problem-based learning, the various phases of clinical trials will be explained in detail, using real examples. These clinical trials form the basis of current research on new drugs, including advanced therapies.
