A Global Health Institute on "Health and Risk Communication in Pandemics and Beyond: Strategies for a Systems Thinking, Community-Centered, and Equity-Driven Approach" that brings together professionals and leaders from multiple sectors and disciplines for an international professional development course.

The Institute’s curriculum focuses on:
β€’ Systems thinking and community-centered approaches
β€’ Social and behavioral change (SBC) and communication (SBCC)
β€’ Health equity and human rights
β€’ Participatory and multisectoral strategies for health and risk communication
β€’ Timely topics including storytelling, building trust in health and science information, engaging with local communities, collaborative partnerships, arts-based communication, value- and identity-based communication, and addressing misinformation/disinformation.

The Institute features guest lectures and site visits with leading international and national organizations, making it ideal for professionals in public health, communication, healthcare, global health, international development, human rights, medicine, and community development, among other fields.
