The KU Leuven Faculty of Law organizes a 4-day Summer School on European & International Law. We want to introduce you to the greatest experts in International & EU Law and offer you an interesting foreign experience. The LL.M. Summer School programme includes short, intensive courses on themes that are in line with the expertise of the KU Leuven Law Faculty and guest speakers. In addition to these lectures, we will also offer social and cultural activities in Leuven including an elegant dinner in The Faculty Club, Leuven.

Target group

The course targets graduate students in Law and Law professionals interested in deepening their EU and International Law knowledge. Undergraduate students in their final year are also welcome to apply but should have had some exposure to at least one of the fields under study.

Course aim

The Summer School lectures will include both an overview of the core concepts of EU & International Law, and a deep-dive in the contemporary issues in these fields today.

Credits info

At the end of the Summer School, participants will receive a signed certificate of participation. The course bears no ECTS and does not include an official examination or other type of evaluation.

EUR 750: Fee for participants affiliated with partner institutions (https://www.kuleuven.be/iia/?lang=e&instid=50000050#view=card). Early bird fee (registration prior to May 1) is 750 and after that 850 EUR.
EUR 850: Fee for participants not affiliated with partner institutions (https://www.kuleuven.be/iia/?lang=e&instid=50000050#view=card). Early bird fee (registration prior to May 1) is 850 and after that 950 EUR.
