Healthy Aging
The increase of longevity of the population is one of the major achievements of the twentieth century. This rapid demographic transition poses huge challenges to many countries on diverse areas. This course will inform you ? from different prospective ? about the factors that keep older people healthy and participating in the society. In this multidisciplinary course on healthy aging we focus on a better understanding of the aging process (biological, psychological and social), the prevention of functional decline and preservation of autonomy. Furthermore, we have different visits and let you experience getting older.
