Interested in Mechatronics? Want to learn how to control robots, simulate dynamic systems or automatically generate code for embedded devices?
Get more knowledge and practical experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop, Rapid Control Prototyping, FPGA, MATLAB, Simulink, etc. by joining us at the International Mechatronics Summer School at Brno University of Technology.
Assoc. Prof. Robert Grepl, Ph.D.
Professionals, students, hobbyists, PhD students, engineers
Consolidation and reinforcement of the knowledge and skills of the participants in the area of Modelling and Simulation in MATLAB/Simulink environment. We provide the participants with practical experience of Rapid Control Prototyping technique (how to design, test and implement advanced control systems using modern HW and SW tools). We will teach and demonstrate the Hardware-In-the-Loop technology using state-of-the-art HW and our practical experiences gained at recent industrial projects for partners like SKODA Auto or BOSCH.
Participants feedback:
”I appreciate the high level of skills and readiness of all lecturers, possibility to adapt the program to participant, professional and friendly approach.”
”A great opportunity to enhance your practical skills in the field of Mechatronics.”
”If you’re thinking about joining the IMSS, don’t think so much. Just make your registration to the school and enjoy all the training. After the training, you will have a lot of experience and information about mechatronics and control. I think this is also a very special experience. PS: If you ever visit the Czech Republic, you can taste a really special beer. ”
”This course gives a really nice overview of the techniques that are used, with a lot of hands-on practice.”
”I found all the practical experience very helpful as the really helped me consolidate all the material and techniques. Also, the number of theoretical lectures was just right to support the learning experience.”
”I like the internationality of the summer school and the practical tasks. I really appreciated the tasks which were given to us on Friday.”
”There was a very good balance between theory and practice. The hands-on lectures were very interesting and helpful.”
”This course gave me a valuable insight into many important mechatronics topics and techniques, and provided me with a platform to continue this learning experience and delve deeper on my own. The lecturers are very helpful and knowledgeable and are able to answer any questions and even teach you further applications of what is being taught in class. I would highly recommend this course to graduate engineers already working in the industry that would like to expand their mechatronics knowledge, and also to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students that would like to be one step ahead of what has been taught in their degrees.”
”The course is very well structured, and there is a very good balance between theory and practice. In fact, the course gives to the students the possibility to immediately apply the learned theory. I think that this summer school is a great opportunity for students that want to make experiments with real systems.”
