Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision
University Jean Monnet / University of Lyon, the second largest academic and first scientific (engineering & technology) cluster in France, launches the first edition of a 2-weeks European Computer Science Summer School in July 2016. We offer graduates and postgraduates students the opportunity to spend 2 weeks at the heart of Europe, and benefit from a blend of scientific training in computer science (delivered in English and awarded by 3 ECTS credits) and exposure to French language and culture.

Target group
To make the most of this summer school, students must preferably:
holder a bachelor degree (or equivalent) in the fields of computer science, IT, physics or mathematics
have an upper intermediate level of English or above. Tuition and communication language of the Summer School being English, participants are expected to have good command of written and oral English (at least B2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, see this table for more detail and correspondance with other test scales)
