The Banca del Fare project is looking for students and young creatives who, through the multidisciplinary approach and the exchange of skills, will have the opportunity to design and build a lighting installation for the outdoor spaces of Cascina Crocetta, in a workshop to be held in Castelletto Uzzone (CN) from 01 to 09 September 2022.

Course leader

Fabulism, founded in 2019 by Giulia Pozzi and Mirko Andolina, is an architecture and landscape studio based in Berlin that operates at the intersection of architecture, landscape and urban planning.

Target group

The workshop is open to students, graduates and young professionals. It is preferable that participants attend or have attended a degree course in Architecture, Design, Landscape, Planning and Engineering or an equivalent organization or an academic institution whose work is related to Architecture and / or urban assets. Candidates from abroad are welcome, the official language of the activities will be Italian and English.

Course aim

The workshop is aimed at the design and construction of a light installation to be inserted in the outdoor spaces of Cascina Crocetta, which has been home to the Banca del Fare Summer School for 7 years and a place for events, meetings, and innovative activities in the setting of the Alta Langa. After a study of the village and the possible uses of open spaces, some areas will be selected in which luminous, temporary, reversible and sustainable installations will be created that will illuminate and make the village recognizable at night.
