This year the programme is focused on the intriguing issues of IPR infringements, for instance intricacies of infringement in the main regimes of IP protection, patent, trademark, copyright and design rights, indirect infringement (also regarding the current jurisprudence of the CJEU), the interface between IPR infringement and unfair competition
and also includes an introduction to negotiation techniques. An international approach is guaranteed by keynote speakers from the United Kingdom, Germany and New Zealand. All lectures and workshops will be conducted in English.

Target group

The Jagiellonian University invites graduate and postgraduate (PhD) law students as well as young professionals to the Kraków Intellectual Property Law Summer School 2017.

Course aim

The programme of the Kraków Intellectual Property Law Summer School 2017 consists of lectures of the keynote speakers and guest lecturers, as well as workshops, case studies, group discussions, simulation exercises on selected topics relating to IPR infringement. Please see the programme.

The one-week programme is offered by the Intellectual Property Law Chair of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Jagiellonian University is one of Europe’s oldest universities (founded in 1364).

Fee info

EUR 100: This is the normal fee for the applying students.
For the early birds who apply before April the 30th, the fee is 80 EUR.
EUR 140: This is the normal fee for the young professionals.
For the early birds who apply before April the 30th, the fee is 120 EUR.
