Summer Portuguese Intensive Course
This course offers training in Portuguese as a Foreign Language at the A1 (beginners), A2 (elementary), B1 (intermediate I) and B2 (intermediate II) levels of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR).
The objectives of the course are, firstly, to provide the tools learners need to overcome linguistic barriers and to improve their Portuguese communication and interaction skills and, complementarily, to stimulate their knowledge of Portuguese culture and Aveiro’s own (summer) sports activities (surfing course, in different course options).
The teaching component will over a number of domains – language, culture, industry, tourism, architecture, history, sports, etc. – with the aim of facilitating participants’ later integration into workplaces and Portuguese society as a whole.

Any adult foreigner (for whom Portuguese is a foreign language) can apply to the 4SPIC course, whether or not they are resident in Portugal, as may mobility students (Erasmus+ Exchange Students), whether or not linked to the UA.
The sharing of linguistic, cultural, sporting and societal knowledge and training will help broaden personal and professional horizons and open up new opportunities, particularly for any future mobility students at the University of Aveiro (UA).
EUR 420: Option 1 fee (420 euros) corresponds to the 4SPIC Summer Portuguese Intensive Course, which includes Portuguese Classes and Cultural Activities (total 90h) . Option 2 adds accommodation to option 1 (+250 euros) and includes a 21 night reservation in a single room in the university residence, between August 25th (Sunday/Monday) and September 165h, 2019 (Saturday/Sunday).
EUR 560: Option 3 fee (560 euros) corresponds to the 4SPIC Summer Portuguese Intensive Course, which includes Portuguese Classes and a Surfing course (total 90h) . Option 4 adds accommodation to option 3 (+250 euros) and includes a 21 night reservation in a single room in the university residence, between August 25th (Sunday/Monday) and September 15th, 2018 (Saturday/Sunday).
