This case study based course deals with selected issues of Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Business Valuation. During the course we value different assets and liabilities, projects and firms, and students working in teams will take their own management decisions given their own opinion and
results.

We will take most of the seminars in the Financial Laboratory, where we have Bloomberg Terminals – the
course will also help students to get all kinds of financial and statistical data.

Target group

Bachelor or Master level students with basic knowledge of Statistics, Excel and Accounting

Course aim

Students will understand the basics of cash flow based business decision making and valuation. Students should be able to understand DCF-based valuation, to determine the fair price of simple assets and to understand the logic of the corporations’ financial decisions.
