aac Workshop USA Special 2025

About

The aac Workshop USA Special will reimagine the Exxon Tower in Houston, Texas, transforming it from a symbol of fossil fuel monopoly into a carbon-free community. Developed by aac Hamburg in collaboration with Charles Renfro of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, New York, the workshop will kick off with an excursion in Houston, organized in partnership with Rice University School of Architecture.

Course leader

The aac Academy for Architectural Culture is a private, non-profit organization, located in Hamburg and founded by the architects von Gerkan, Marg and partners.

Target group

International Bachelor/Master students in architecture and young graduates

Course aim

Tackle a real-world challenge with other international architecture students and develop a host of additional skills, knowledge and connections.
