This course is offered as part of the Radboud Summer School in Social Research Methods, in collaboration with MethodsNET (a global network that offers excellent training in social research methods).
Qualitative Comparative Analysis continues to undergo modifications and improvements. This course enables students to produce a publishable QCA, applying the most advanced analytic tools available in the R software environment.

This PhD level course is open to all researchers aiming at bringing their research to the next level. It is particularly designed for those who already have some ideas on what they want to use the method of QCA for in their own project(s). This can be an article, a dissertation (MA, PhD), a book, or a research project in a team.
After this course you are able to:
-Implementing own QCA research based on current best practices and standards
-Performing QCA in R, the most flexible and powerful software environment for this method
-Distinguishing better from worse applications of QCA in published research
-Getting familiar with R programming language
