About

This intensive online course at Guildhall School of Music & Drama is intended for advanced violinists who are preparing for auditions, competitions and concerts. The course offers you the opportunity to:

- Further develop your skills and practice-techniques over the summer months
- Gain further insights into communication and performance techniques
- Explore aspects of style and performance in various periods of the violin repertoire
- Receive individual lessons with Professor Jacqueline Ross

Course leader

Jacqueline Ross is Professor of Violin at the Guildhall School. Born in New York, she has enjoyed a unique and varied international career.

Target group

- Ages 16+
- Advanced violinists who are preparing for auditions, competitions and concerts.

Course aim

- Five individual lessons with Professor Jacqueline Ross
- The opportunity to perform in an online concert
- An online masterclass, where you will receive feedback on your playing and have a chance to hear other students play
- A question and answer session on the repertoire and technical points covered
