About

Artificial intelligence is reshaping every sector of the economy and understanding its foundations has become an essential skill for tomorrow's professionals.
Through hands-on exercises using real data and Python tools, students will explore core algorithms, evaluate model performance, and engage with the ethical questions that come with building intelligent systems.
Beyond the technical layer, they will also examine how AI is transforming education, business and public life (from algorithmic bias to EU regulation) and develop the critical thinking needed to engage with it as responsible professionals.

Duration: 1 week. This programme is also available as a two- or three-week experience, allowing students to combine blocks according to their interests and schedule.

Open to all students aged 18 and over.

Course aim

To give students a solid and accessible foundation in artificial intelligence — its mechanisms, its applications and its implications — so they can engage with AI as informed and responsible professionals.
By the end of this block, students will be able to:
- Understand the core principles and mechanisms behind machine learning
- Work with basic Python tools to explore and evaluate AI models
- Assess the ethical and regulatory dimensions of AI systems
- Analyse how AI is reshaping industries and public life
- Engage critically with AI as a tool — not just a technology
