About

You will explore colonial legacies, anti-racist urban geographies, and participatory democracy through a decolonial, challenge-based approach.

Participants will work in teams to carry out real-world actions β€” from campaign strategies to public art β€”, which will then be showcased in a final public event.

Critical urban studies, visual research methods, and decolonial thought will be discussed and the city of Padua will be experienced through an urban decolonial tour, connecting theory to local practice.

This School will allow you to build lasting collaborations with scholars and activists across Europe and contribute to a growing academic-activist network supported by ARQUS and the University of Padua
