Architecture, Design and Build Summer School

About

Hands on Lisbon is a 2-week summer school where you DESIGN it and you BUILD it!
From A to Z you'll be involved in everything and learn from all the different phases of the process. Throughout this process we'll be supporting you with a team of tutors, with experience in both phases and tutoring methodologies.
In Hands-On Lisbon you will work closely with the community to receive their inputs and understand their problems and needs. It is intended that the interventions have a local impact by finding solutions and raising questions. The goal in the end is to improve the neighborhood.

Course aim

Hands on Lisbon aim is to promote a fun and interactive workshop that combine the participants' creativity, the tutors know how and the local community knowledge to create two interventions both in historical neighborhoods. Also, the Design & Build concept, creates the possibility to learn all the phases of a project, from the original idea to the inauguration/activation day.
