Using the Arduino development environment and an in serial programmer, students will write programs for the Atmel attiny 85 embedded processor to control small peripheral devices and use a solar cell to power the device during daylight hours.

In this workshop students will learn how to program in a modern and flexible microcontroller and use the C programming language. By the end of this workshop, students will be able to develop their own solutions to word defined problems in a modern microcontroller.
