You want to learn how to build with earth and fibres and understand how these materials can be used in contemporary architecture? The BASEhabitat Summer School offers a unique and intensive hands-on experience, complemented by theoretical input and discussion. The workshops are led by renowned trainers from around the world.

*straw and reed

Participants also benefit from an extensive international network of participants and trainers and can present their own projects in peer lectures. 100 people from different nations and disciplines meet in Austria to work and learn together

Course aim

BASEhabitat wants to promote the use of regenerative materials, as they play in important role in the shift towards a circular architecture. The summer school offers theory inputs and intensive hands-on experience as well as networking and exchange between the participants, to work together on an architecture for change
