Bayesian Modelling

About

The purpose of the course is to provide the participant with the tools to be able to do data analysis through Bayesian inference. At the end of the course, the participant must be able to do data analysis on a dataset of his/her own using Bayesian inference, withthe following steps:
• Clean, prepare and arrange data before any analysis.
• Go from an equation specifiying a concrete model to its representation in computer code.
• Obtain estimates of the parameters of interest. • Graphically represent the results of the models and interpret the results.

Target group

Students, researchers, business professionals who need to develop good quality surveys and/or need to apply appropriate and up-to-date statistical methods. At the conclusion of the Summer School, participants will receive a certificate for each course and with the number of hours attended.
