This PhD level course is open to all researchers aiming at bringing their research to the next level. It is particularly designed for those who want to apply causal reasoning and identification in their empirical research in the social sciences. This course provides a practical insights into the application of empirical techniques of causal inference.
After this course you are able to:
-Understand and evaluate the relevance of causality in quantitative research in social sciences
-Apply specific techniques for causal analyses to your research
-Conduct these techniques in R
-Understand and evaluate the benefits and pitfalls of these techniques
