About

Official Programme Affiliation: Intensive Learning Opportunity is implemented within the framework of the ENHANCE+ European University of Technology Alliance and supported by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

Program is designed for ambitious Master students, PhD candidates and Early Stage Researchers who want hands-on experience with state-of-the-art material characterization techniques used in modern energy technologies.

Blended learning format combining an online theoretical introduction with an intensive on-site laboratory program.

Participation Conditions and Financial Support:
Participation in the learning opportunity is free of charge for all admitted participants.

Within the framework of ENHANCE+ and NAWA support mechanisms, qualified participants outside WUT are entitled to receive a lump-sum grant intended to partially cover travel and subsistence (accommodation and living) costs related to the on-site component of the program. The amount and conditions of the lump sum will be communicated to selected participants in accordance with applicable ENHANCE+ and NAWA regulations.

Admission and Number of Places: Admission is competitive. The number of available places is limited to 15 participants per edition

Learning opportunity combines expert-led instruction with hands-on experimentation in a dynamic academic environment.
Candidates are invited to join an intensive, international learning opportunity focused on the characterization of modern materials used in energy storage and generation systems to explore advanced materials for energy technologies

Course aim

Participants will gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in: understanding flow and deformation behavior of advanced materials, spectroscopic insight into structure and chemical features of polymer and gel electrolytes, analysis of electrochemical performance and stability of advanced energy materials.
Through lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, you will learn how to:
- Select appropriate analytical techniques for different material systems
- Design measurement protocols and validate experimental data
- Interpret complex datasets relevant to real-world research and industrial applications
