About

This five-day course is for anyone interested in photography, and thinking about purchasing work from the contemporary to the vintage. Topics covered will include a brief history of photography, building and managing a collection, an introduction to the art market, practical aspects of collecting, photographic processes, assessment of conditions, guidelines on handling, conservation and storage.

Course leader

The course will be led by Roy Kahman, renowned gallerist, curator, publisher and collector.

Target group

This five-day course is for anyone interested in photography, and thinking about purchasing photographic works from the contemporary to the vintage.

Course aim

After 5 days of intense coursework on the many aspects of collecting, you will be able to build a photography collection more consciously.
