Advancing technology and infrastructure as well as the furthering globalisation and liberalisation of the economy have intensified and complicated international commerce. As a consequence the legal challenges of conducting international commerce have also increased. Expert lawyers are needed to meet the challenges as well as to make the most of the opportunities that this changing environment represents.

This module looks at international commercial law from a comparative legal aspect and gives participants the opportunity to study subjects relevant to international business in today’s world. The objective of this module is to give participants an advanced and critical understanding of the main elements of the legal framework in which international commerce operates. To achieve this aim the module covers the fundamental characteristics of international contract law and competition law.
