Innovate is more than a summer course β itβs an academic accelerator. Our programme combines academic excellence with real-world application through project-based learning, industry visits, and guest speakers, connecting theory to practice.
Students gain the insight to make informed choices about their academic direction and career pathways while developing critical thinking, creativity, and resilience β essential skills for success at university and beyond.
As part of our 2-week pre-university programme, Innovate Summer Academy students can choose to study with the Faculty of Computer Science and AI. Engage deeply with core areas of computer science, such as programming, data analysis, and machine learning, gaining both technical knowledge and an understanding of the ethical and societal impacts of AI.
The programme covers foundational modules like programming essentials, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students will learn through hands-on projects, be taught programming languages, and software development techniques. Our curriculum also highlights ethical considerations and societal impacts of AI, encouraging a responsible approach to technology.

3675 GBP, Non-residential 10 day programme - Monday to Friday, over 2 weeks Students on our non-residential option without weekend excursions are with us from 8am to 9pm, Monday to Friday. Includes three meals a day.
