The overall aim of the module is to introduce students with a business background to some of the challenges business face in world of increased globalisation and dynamism. The module will explore the factors at local, national and international level which influence, guide and often determine the economic behaviour of both producers and consumers. The module will also consider the development of robust business process regarding an enterprise’s financial and risk position in an economically uncertain and vibrant world. A blended learning approach will be used, which combines lectures, seminars and practical workshops. Practical sessions and seminars will be linked to the lecture; incorporating problem based learning strategies and e-learning materials.
