About

In this program, the students will learn how to use their computer without exposing it to most of the threats lurking outside, whether this is simple Internet browsing, usage of publicly available Wi-Fi, or usage of secure corporate network.
Cyber Security is an ever-evolving field with opportunities waiting for everyone with the interest to learn more and develop their skills in this interesting and demanding topic. This program will show the basic steps most hackers would go through while compromising the victim’s computers and it will define some interesting known and less-known attack vectors and protections against them.
The prerequisite for this program is the understanding of the basics of operating systems, network and web applications. Nevertheless, the important concepts will be delivered during the class as a refresher. Everyone brave enough to step into this class will be rewarded with knowledge that is heavily sought after not only in military/government sector, but also in any security aware corporation/company.

Robert Petrunić works as a senior security consultant an international company dedicated to IT security education, penetration testing and computer forensics.

Course aim

Cyber Security is an ever-evolving field with opportunities waiting for everyone with the interest to learn more and develop their skills in this interesting and demanding topic. This program will show the basic steps most hackers would go through while compromising the victim’s computers and it will define some interesting known and less-known attack vectors and protections against them.

You will not only have a chance to compromise many vulnerable machines by using different attack vectors, but you will also gain knowledge that will help you protect the computers and networks against the attacks covered in this module. The program will also cover some of the latest attacks and methods used in the wild.

The prerequisite for this program is an understanding of the basics of operating systems, networks, and web applications. Nevertheless, the important concepts will be delivered during the class as a refresher. Everyone brave enough to step into this class will be rewarded with the knowledge that is heavily sought after not only in the military/government sector but also in any security-aware corporation/company.

International students who apply for this program can take the elective Croatian Language and Culture program for free and earn extra 4 ECTS credits. The Croatian Language and Culture program will help you learn the very basics of Croatian and offer an excellent insight into Croatian culture.

1990 EUR, Full tuition includes the program and all related materials, lunch on class days, industry speakers and guest lecturers, cultural and social activities as well as organized transportation from Zagreb to Šibenik and back on the dates of 12 and 19 July.

Fee

1691.50 EUR, The Early Bird tuition fee option is available to students applying before 15 March 2026 and covering the tuition fee costs by 31 March 2026.
