About
Throughout the course the participants aquire practical knowledge based on theory, principles and experience. They will learn the basic design principles of data visualization from the aspect of human cognition, perception, visual understanding and reasoning as well as from ethical and critical viewpoints.

Target group
Minimal Excel knowledge is required.
Course aim
Participants will put theoretical knowledge into practice using a wide range of visualization and mapping tools, like, for instance: Flourish, RawGraphs, Cosmograph or Foursquare Studio. By the end of the course, participants will be able to create their own, full-fledged data visualization project.
