About

Get the mathematical background for advanced algorithmic and programming skills! This course introduces students to selected chapters from discrete mathematics that build solid ground for complex analysis of (computational) problems, and thus gives students the possibility to incorporate advanced methods in their programming.

Students of any age from high school onwards, working professionals, mature students, prospective university entrants

Course aim

Upon completion, the student should understand the basics of Computational Complexity
; be able to apply typical graph theory problems in problem-solving
; use recursion effectively in programming
