EAA Summer School for Young Acousticians

About

A rich program of lectures has been organized on various topics related to the fundamentals of acoustics and its applications at broad range of hot topics with lecturers from various universities, research institutes and industries.

The lecture module “Fundamentals in Acoustics” will be taught oriented for undergraduate students, young researchers and professionals non-expert in acoustics..

Several lecture modules on specific hot topics will run in parallel for PhD students, young researchers and professionals, and undergraduate students with at least 6 ECTS credits on their CV in acoustics (not required for participants in Hot Topic 7).

An evaluation test is foreseen on the last day, Sunday, September 10th.

- Hot Topic 1 – Environmental Acoustics and Soundscape
- Hot Topic 2 – Aeroacoustics
- Hot Topic 3 – Auralization
- Hot Topic 4 – Acoustic Product Design
- Hot Topic 5 – Acoustic Metamaterials
- Hot Topic 6 – Metrology and Measurement science in Acoustics
- Hot Topic 7 – Acoustic analysis of Speech and Voice
- Hot Topic 8 – Toolboxes for Auditory modeling and Psychoacoustic research

Target group

Undergraduate students (“Fundamentals in Acoustics” lecture module).
PhD students, young researchers and professionals, and undergraduate students with at least 6 ECTS credits on their CV in acoustics (not required for participants in Hot Topic 7).
