Entrepreneurship and Digitalization in Sport & Event Management

In the summer of 2016 BiTS will be offering the International Summer School program “Entrepreneurship and Digitalization in Sport & Event Management”. The course will take place from 08th – 26th August 2016 in Berlin, Germany. As the Summer School is held entirely in English, students from all over the world will meet in this dynamic city and participate in an innovative, creative and cultural summer program.

The course provides a highly varied interactive program, giving students from different backgrounds the opportunity to learn additional skills and to get stimulated in the areas of Sport and Event Management.

Target group

In order to apply for the Summer School, you need to be a graduate student or at least in your third year of your undergraduate studies.

Course aim

How to run a professional club? How to deal with sponsors or sport agents? What are the major implications for creativity in terms of digitalization? What about innovation and technology in sports? Are there any? All these questions will be illuminated. By the end of the summer school you should have expanded your personal horizon and skills.

Berlin is worldwide renowned as an outstanding city for sport and event activities. Professional clubs like Hertha BSC, Alba Berlin, Eisbären Berlin, or event highlights like Grüne Woche, IFA, German Music and Movie Award, Berlin Marathon are just some prominent names and events in this cosmopolitan city. Consequentially, companies are in dire need for creative and dynamic young people to take over responsibility and action.
