The POLLEN Module aims to foster excellence-in-teaching in EU Environmental studies and consists of a two-week course of 43 teaching hours (staggered hours – from 15h30 to 19h30 including two Saturday mornings) covering the following areas:
EU Environmental Law,
EU in Multilateral Negotiations,
Air Pollution in Court,
EU Climate Change and Energy Governance,
EU Waste Management,
Chemicals, and Nanotechnologies,
Biodiversity,
Agriculture,
Food,
and Trade.

The POLLEN Module is aimed at:
Master and PhD students
Practitioners in Law, Political Science, International and European Studies,
but also in other environment-related areas (e.g. Life Sciences, Bioengineering).

Its academic added value relies on its interdisciplinary character. Confirmed speakers come from humanities and social sciences and from applied sciences. It thus exposes participants to a range of theoretical approaches and methodological skills, helping them bolster their career prospects and grasp the environmental challenges Europe faces today.
