Exotic Medicine and Surgery

This year EXOCLINIC is organizing an international summerschool of exotic medicine and surgery. The five-day course will kick off 26th July 2020. The event is organized by the staff from the Clinic of birds, reptiles and small mammals. In the hands-on oriented course, students learn basic clinical procedures for exotic birds, reptiles and small mammals through theorical teaching modules and practical clinical cases. The participating will learn the basics of handling exotic animals, taking and analyzing blood samples, radiographic evaluation and parasitological examination. The school culminates in the presentation of anesthesiology, surgery, endoscopy techniques and new therapeutics.
