The course provides an overview of the processes and strategies for forecasting fashion trends.

The student will be able to gain a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the modern fashion industry as well as learn and deepen some elements related to the culture of the sector. Sudents will have the opportunity to practice working with industry-relevant techniques. With its working method, the course provides a concrete first understanding of design tools and processes.

The course is intended for students who have competence or basic professional expertise in the area of study and are interested in developing their professional skills. Participants must be familiar with the main features of the Fashion Industry and keen to understand the main tools to identify and read Fashion Trends

Course aim

The objective of this Summer course is to acquire and analyze basic technical, cultural, and analytical tools, as well as to gain an understanding of the concept of trend and its significance in the style and commercial areas.

Through an in-depth study of the principles of design, the three-weeks course provides an overview of the processes and strategies for forecasting fashion trends.
